Ashley has a plethora of tutoring experience at the college and grade school levels. She graduated college with high honors with a math major and Spanish minor (she is fluent in Spanish). While in college, she was a member of the Spanish National Honor Society, the vice-president of the Mathematics National Honor Society, and holds an advanced tutoring certification (at the Advanced level as a math tutor) from the College Reading and Learning Association. Ashley has received perfect reviews from all the families she has worked with and is one of the most well-rounded and effective tutors around.
Christy currently teaches High School English (Honors and Academic as well as Creative Writing) at a local HS in Wake County. She also taught reading classes to diverse populations (for struggling and gifted students as well as Pre-K to adult ages) as a certified instructor of the Insitute of Reading Development. She has a wealth of experience tutoring and has maintained tutoring relationships for over 6 years in some cases. She is truly one of the most talented tutors you could ever wish for.
Helen currently teaches at a local elementary school in Wake County. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Elementary Education as well as a Master of Education degree with a concentration in reading. While in undergraduate school, Helen was a member of the Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society of Education and graduated Magna Cum Laude when she received her Masters Degree. She has experience as a grade level chair at the Elementary School level. Helen recently came onboard with WakeTutors and already is making an impact. Erica holds a B.S. in Mathematics and is near completion of her M.S. in Operations Research with a minor in Industrial and Systems Engineering.
