Meet Our Tutors
Selecting the BEST Tutors
We are extremely selective when hiring independently contracted tutors for WakeTutors.com. As of our launch in May, we offered contracts to less than 15% of all people who submitted applications to become a tutor with WakeTutors.com.
As educators ourselves, we knew that our tutors would be the backbone of our business. We were extremely selective about the type of tutor we wanted servicing the students of Wake County and beyond. All our tutors are either highly qualified certified teachers or are outstanding academics. And most importantly, all of our tutors are held to the highest standards and have demonstrated the ability to teach.
You can see some of our tutor bios for yourself here!

Tutors Held to the Highest of Standards
Our tutors have demonstrated success in their own academic and personal lives but does that make them great tutors? That's where we come in. We conduct extensive personal interviews, reference checks, and background checks on each of our tutors and only offer contracts to those who show personal integrity, responsibility, and a talent and passion for teaching. Too many tutoring services are only interested in having as many tutors as they can, without really looking for (or knowing what to look for in) the most exceptional of educators.
The focus for each of our tutors is to help your student be successful in the classroom. They understand that our standards and expectations are extremely high. But we also realize that flexibility and choice is important to have when choosing a tutor. If you don't feel your tutor is the absolute best fit for your student, we encourage you to try someone else!
