The Need for Quality Education
WakeTutors.com was founded in 2008 in recognition of the growing need for quality, convenient, and affordable supplemental education in Wake County and the Raleigh area. We knew there had to be a way to make it easier for families to connect with quality tutors. Learning centers can often be expensive and require an intensive time commitment. Many parents feel uncomfortable calling tutors from a list provided by the school guidance office.
Relying on referrals from friends, neighbors, and colleagues is also no guarantee—the chance of finding a tutor who can connect with your child and whose availability fits with your family’s existing schedule is slim.
With this in mind, we created the first online scheduling website to connect Wake County families to quality tutors. WakeTutors.com recruits only the most qualified tutors throughout the county. We take great pride in selecting only the most talented tutors across the county. We also sought to create THE premier educational community for Wake County parents. After registering on the site, we give you access to a comprehensive parent resource page. This page is constantly updated and if there is information you need that is not on the page, please let us know and we will do our best to find the resource for you, regardless if you are a customer or not. Our committment and obsession is to education.
As educators ourselves, we see just how huge a need there is for one-on-one supplemental educational services. Too often we see incredible teachers who just do not have the time they want or need to devote to each individual student. We also see students of every ability craving the attention that a large classroom sometimes does not allow. With an ever-expanding curriculum and increased demands placed on our students, the need for individualized instruction to support our schools has grown to immense proportions. WakeTutors.com was founded to bridge that gap.
